Agreement to Terms
These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the website located at abdilawfirm.com (the “Site”), which is operated by Abdi & Associates, Inc., a California professional corporation (“we,” “us” or “our”). By accessing or using the Site you agree to these Terms of Use and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Site. We may update these Terms of Use from time to time by posting a revised version with a new “Last updated” date; your continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the revised terms.

No Attorney-Client Relationship
Using the Site, sending us an email, submitting a form, sending a text message, or calling us does not create an attorney-client relationship with Abdi & Associates, Inc. An attorney-client relationship is formed only when we have agreed to represent you and you have signed a written engagement agreement. Until then, do not send us confidential or time-sensitive information, and do not rely on us to protect any deadline. We handle information you send us in an inquiry in accordance with our professional obligations to prospective clients, and we will not use it to your disadvantage; however, sending it does not obligate us to represent you.
Eligibility
The Site is intended for users who are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18; if we learn that we have, we will delete it.

Governing Law and Venue
These Terms of Use and your use of the Site are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute arising out of these Terms of Use or your use of the Site that is not subject to arbitration under the following section shall be brought in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
Dispute Resolution for Site Disputes
Before filing any claim relating to the Site, you agree to contact us at the address below and attempt in good faith to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days. If the dispute is not resolved, either party may elect to resolve it by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, before a single arbitrator, in Los Angeles County, California, or by videoconference. The arbitrator may award the same relief a court could award to the individual claimant. Either party may instead bring an individual claim in small claims court. Any claim relating to the Site must be brought within one year after it arises. This section applies only to disputes about the Site and these Terms of Use; disputes between the firm and a client about legal services are governed by the engagement agreement and by California law, including the State Bar’s mandatory fee arbitration program where applicable.
Miscellaneous
These Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Site. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver. You may not assign your rights under these Terms of Use.
